These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Choni (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Choni. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Choni to generate illegal, harmful, hateful, or sexually exploitative content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or impersonate others.
• Bypass usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls.
• Submit content you do not have the right to submit.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Pro, Ultra) are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. AI-generated content

Choni uses AI models that can produce inaccurate, biased, or offensive output. Do not rely on Choni for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. IELTS scores and feedback are estimates for practice only and do not represent official exam results.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display it as needed to operate the Service. We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve Choni.

7. Intellectual property

Choni, its branding, and its software are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy or redistribute the Service without permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time from the settings.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Choni's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to the Service

We may change, add, or remove features at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be announced via the Service or email.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
